- Graduate Group of Ecology
Eliza is a PhD student in the Graduate Group in Ecology (GGE) and a trainee in the Sustainable Oceans National Research Traineeship. She uses social-ecological networks to understand how coastal communities adapt to environmental change. This work has been based, so far, in Downeast Maine and New Zealand's South Island. Eliza holds a degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic. She is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow (2018-2023), a Sustainable Oceans Trainee (2018-2023), and a Fulbright fellow (2016).
