Gabby is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Graduate Group in Ecology (GGE). Her research interests are generally on environmental governance and decision-making in marine systems. Combining past research experience in marine ecology with current social science interests, Gabby is passionate about applying her work within the science-policy interface to improve the management of our coasts and oceans. Additionally, she is deliberate about providing accessible science through outreach, mentoring, and science communication. In 2021, Gabby graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Biology from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
