Liza is a second-year student in Ecology, studying issues broadly related to food systems governance for sustainability. For her dissertation, Liza is interested in how the governance of seed systems impacts outcomes for biodiversity and social-ecological resilience more generally, particularly in the context of climate change. Liza has previously worked at College of Charleston, South Carolina, both as an administrator and instructor with first-year students, leading courses on local food systems in Charleston and Peru.  She holds degrees in Sustainability Science and Policy (MSc), Organic Farming (MSc), and Biology and Political Science (BA).
