Toby Jacob is a current fourth-year student at UC Davis studying Earth and Planetary Sciences. She is particularly interested in remote sensing, glacial change, ice-ocean interactions, and community resilience. As Lab Manager, she maintains the lab’s website and LinkedIn presence and serves as a teaching assistant for the Environmental Careers Mentorship Program. In her role as an undergraduate research associate, she has worked with Tara Pozzi on qualitative research examining environmental behavior and decision-making processes. She currently works under Dr. Lubell as a project coordinator, identifying key stakeholders involved in climate adaptation across the greater Bay Area and supporting network analysis for the San Francisco Estuary Partnership.

In her spare time Toby can be found enjoying good books, good jazz, talking her dog Indy for long walks, and anything pesto related.
